Canadian police are investigating after multiple trucks were targeted by a person throwing pumpkins over the weekend.<\/p>\n

The incidents occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 12, in the London, Ontario, area.<\/p>\n

At 2:30 a.m. on September 12, Middlesex Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to eastbound Highway 401 near Old Victoria Road for a report that a semi truck had been struck by a pumpkin, resulting in damage to the windshield.<\/p>\n

At 3:10 a.m., OPP responded to two additional reports of trucks being struck by pumpkins on eastbound Highway 402 near White Oak Road. The windshield of one of these trucks was severely damaged, Insauga.com <\/a>reports. The other truck was damaged by the pumpkin but the windshield wasn\u2019t hit.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese dangerous and reckless acts pose a serious threat to public safety. Behaviors like this can result in collisions, serious injuries and even fatalities,\u201d said OPP.<\/p>\n
