So when they unplugged it, started the engine, and it still flowed gases they declared it as sticking and faulty.<\/p>\n<p>But yet I keep reading about all these EGR tests that can be done through the volvo PTT software and they didn&#8217;t mention anything about testing it that way.<\/p>\n<p>So is unplugging it a valid test?<\/p>\n<p>Also there has never been any EGR related codes, wouldn&#8217;t a flow issue (to high or to low) set a code?<\/p>\n<p>Also, can a EGR that is not working properly cause high EGT?<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m just suspicious of their diagnosis since this valve is 3 weeks old.
