If its a C-15 then I dont recommend the DataStar.  I would go with the CAT display unit.  It is only $700 for the display and wiring harness, the DataStar is $500.  It does everything the DataStar does, plus engine codes and the ability to give you MPG, miles traveled, fuel used in every state you drive in.  I see that as worth the cost alone, just flip the screen to what state you are entering and when its time to fill out your IFTA just fill in the boxes.
