I made it to about 800,000 before I started having problems then they seem to come daily at least weekly. This is a list of what I did in 4 years amazing enough I missed very few <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruckersreport.com\/jobs\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" class=\"KWMLlink KWMListener\" data-kwm=\"10\" rel=\"noopener\">jobs<\/a> had I depended on a mechanic I would of lot my contract and there fore my business. This is just information for people thinking about doing it its not for the faint of heart.<br \/>Rebuilt Engine <br \/>Replace CPC Twice One was stolen cut the wire harness <br \/>Replace ecm<br \/>Replace ACM <br \/>Water pump<br \/>Turbo<br \/>Waste gate on turbo 2 years prior <br \/>Oil cooler <br \/>Fuel Pump<br \/>Air compressor x 2<br \/>Set of injector x 2<br \/>Cam housing Gasket 3 time under warranty but still down<br \/>Cam housing freeze plugs<br \/>Oil pan<br \/>Transmission <br \/>2 clutches <br \/>Radiator<br \/>A\/c compressor <br \/>A\/c line<br \/>One Box<br \/>One Box wire harness <br \/>Wire harness from ACM to one box<br \/>Def pump<br \/>Metering valve<br \/>Bellow pipe 2 times<br \/>Air Dryer<br \/>Quick release <br \/>Air valve<br \/>Every brake camber 2 times<br \/>Every Air bag twice <br \/>5th wheel <br \/>Fuel sending unit<br \/>Too many Air fittings to count<br \/>Transmission lines<br \/>Tie Rod Ends<br \/>King pins<br \/>Passenger side spindle<br \/>Injector cups<\/p>\n<p>Replace head with Rebuilt drop a valve at 1.3 million miles why had to Rebuilt in first place <\/p>\n<p>Driverside mirror <br \/>All the Brakes obviously <br \/>Power steering pump<br \/>Drag link<br \/>Soon many tires lol<br \/>Brake Air lines<br \/>(Amazingly still has same Alternator)<br \/>Battery Several times<br \/>Driver seat<br \/>Both heater  Cores<br \/>Both Blower motors<br \/>Most all dash Bottons <br \/>Had do 2 jump wires in Sam chassis harness<br \/>Not to mention preventable maintenance <\/p>\n<p>This is just what I remember! It huge headache and if you run the load Boards only you won&#8217;t survive. It&#8217;s not as simple as buying a truck even if you lease on somewhere it tough if you have ####y truck or won&#8217;t touch a wrench. I&#8217;ve seen so many people go under cause they don&#8217;t understand what actually goes into being a owner operator.
