A man was killed when his concrete truck fell off an overpass in Houston during Tuesday morning rush hour.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The accident happened on December 10th on the Sam Houston Tollway where it crosses over Beltway 8 just before 9 a.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to ABC 13<\/a>, the concrete truck collided with a meal delivery truck on the Sam Houston Tollway. The force of the impact shoved the concrete truck off of the overpass and it landed on Beltway 8 below.\u00a0<\/p>\n The driver of the concrete truck was killed in the accident, and the meal delivery truck driver sustained critical injuries. A woman in a sedan was also hurt when a surveillance camera pole fell on her car as a result of the wreck.\u00a0<\/p>\n The delivery driver is expected to survive. The sedan driver suffered a concussion and is also expected to recover.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0\u201cFalling off of the overpass is insane,\u201d said a woman who witnessed the crash.\u00a0\u201cI was in my car listening to music \u2014 the music was loud, so I don\u2019t know how I heard it over my loud music, but it was like if you\u2019ve ever heard a car accident, but that times three, and like 10 seconds longer. It was just like something falling, basically,\u201d she said to KHOU11<\/a>.<\/p>\n Investigators say they do not yet know what caused the initial collision on the overpass.
