{"id":17497,"date":"2024-12-28T02:27:14","date_gmt":"2024-12-28T02:27:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pro-truckdrivers.com\/blog\/tesla-finally-breaking-ground-on-electric-semi-truck-factory\/"},"modified":"2024-12-28T02:27:14","modified_gmt":"2024-12-28T02:27:14","slug":"tesla-finally-breaking-ground-on-electric-semi-truck-factory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pro-truckdrivers.com\/blog\/tesla-finally-breaking-ground-on-electric-semi-truck-factory\/","title":{"rendered":"Tesla finally breaking ground on electric semi truck factory"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_84\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<p>The new Tesla semi truck factory is finally under construction in Nevada.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The structure of the new facility, built next to the Giga Nevada factory, has been raised almost a year after Tesla announced plans for the facility back in January 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In April, Tesla stated that the Tesla semi truck would be in full production by \u2018late 2025.\u2019 This appears to still be the current plan according to <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2024\/12\/27\/tesla-semi-factory-gets-its-main-structure-on-track-for-production-in-2025\/\">Electrek<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For now, Tesla semis are being largely used internally by Tesla and by PepsiCo.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Yesterday, Semi Factory Nevada topped off the main area of the building with the last major piece of structural steel!
