\t\t\t\t\tI’ve spent most of my life in the service industry, and for the past two years, specifically in transportation. Day after day, I see drivers and Owner-Operators (O\/Os) getting the short end of the stick due to careless and lazy dispatchers<\/a>. The reality is, drivers are the quarterbacks of the industry and the economy\u2014let\u2019s face it. Driving is what drivers signed up to do, and many O\/Os want to focus on the road, not the logistics.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, many O\/Os are stuck with dispatchers who don\u2019t provide clear ETAs for brokers<\/a> or deliveries, fail to check in on drivers, and don’t consider the drivers’ personal lives. Dispatching<\/a> should be an extension of the O\/O’s business, working for the driver, not against them. Dispatchers need to communicate effectively and ensure drivers have all the information they need\u2014when and where they\u2019re going, details on broker interactions, and clear delivery schedules.<\/p>\n

If an O\/O wants to be home or take a vacation, the dispatcher<\/a> should respect that and route the driver according to their wishes. Dispatching should remain small, focused, and aligned with the driver\u2019s goals. That\u2019s why I\u2019m launching a new approach to dispatching\u2014one that prioritizes service to O\/O companies and works for the carrier, not the other way around.<\/p>\n

I want to build a dispatching model that truly serves the driver. I know this might seem like common sense, but unfortunately, common sense isn\u2019t always so common. Dispatching needs to shift from being a burden to being a true partner to O\/Os who need help with logistics. I\u2019m committed to making that change.<\/p>\n

I started this new initiative in January 2025, and I\u2019m starting fresh, offering a new, more personalized dispatching service. I\u2019m looking to connect with O\/Os who want to improve their dispatching experience.
