Once completed, these purchases would mark the 37th owned terminal and 15th leased terminal <a href=\"https:\/\/cdllife.com\/2023\/estes-revised-1-525-billion-bid-for-yellow-properties-is-an-improvement-over-previous-offers-company-says\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">by Estes from the now defunct trucking company<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The seven new owned properties include a 52.7 acre terminal in Tracy, California with 167 doors; a 13.5 acre terminal in Fort Wayne, Indiana with 75 doors; a 21.9 acre terminal in Jeffersonville, Indiana with 80 doors; a 39.2 acre terminal in Hagerstown, Maryland with 136 doors; a 8.6 acre terminal in Omaha, Nebraska with 67 doors; a 42.9 acre terminal in Cincinnati, Ohio with 216 doors; and a 95 acre terminal in Ringgold, Georgia with 198 doors.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Estes has invested heavily in equipment and real estate since 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese additional terminals are another example of Estes\u2019 commitment to investing in resources that create more capacity, opportunity, and resiliency for our company and those we serve,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.estes-express.com\/news\/estes-acquires-11-terminals-1-215-doors-from-former-yellow-corp\">said<\/a> Angela Maidment, Vice President, Corporate Real Estate and Legal Affairs. \u201cEstes\u2019 creativity in both investing and acquiring real estate, plus growing our equipment base, will support our continued expansion and allow us to begin 2025 on a positive, growth-minded note, especially one that didn\u2019t see Estes incur any debt or jeopardize our strong financial position.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is another exciting growth opportunity for Estes, and it wouldn\u2019t have been possible without the hard work and dedication of Angela Maidment and her team,\u201d said Webb Estes, President and COO. \u201cThis year, our ability to not only add properties to our network, but for Kevin Fitz and his facilities maintenance team to quickly get them up to Estes standards has been a testament to all the collective efforts of Team Estes.
