A sheriff\u2019s office in Kansas shared a trucker\u2019s dash cam video as a reminder of the hazards of driving without clearing your vehicle of ice and snow.<\/p>\n

The video was shared by the Chase County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/strong><\/a> (CCSO) out of Cottonwood, Kansas, on January 9.<\/p>\n

Folks, we can all do a little better at cleaning the snow and ice off of our vehicles before traveling. This video will show you why this is necessary.<\/em><\/p>\n

The driver of this semi did an incredible job of safely bringing the unit to a stop. Although he had minor cuts from glass and refused transport to the hospital, it could have been so much worse.<\/em><\/p>\n

Take the extra time and clean off vehicles.<\/em><\/p>\n
