The Iowa State Patrol Commercial Motor Vehicle Unit<\/strong><\/a> is asking truckers to check their mirrors and stay alert after encountering a semi truck driver with major tire troubles.<\/p>\n

On January 8, Iowa troopers encountered a tractor trailer on I-380 and conducted a traffic stop.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot only were both tires missing but, due to the trailer being loaded, it resulted in the remaining dual set being extremely overweight,\u201d the Iowa State Patrol said.<\/p>\n

The incident also prompted the Iowa State Patrol to advise truckers to \u201ccheck your mirrors often and pay attention to other motorist who may be trying to tell you something is wrong!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
