It&#8217;s really hard to find companies hiring in this area specifically, or companies which have a terminal nearby, as TenStreet doesn&#8217;t sort by that very well. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve gotten a couple offers from companies such as Ryder (home daily), McElroy, Schneider (Dedicated), and a company called AWL Transportation. Just trying to gauge which company is best to jump in and get my feet wet, I plan on working for a company for a year or more to get some experience and then going to go Owner Operator, as I actually own a paid off 2020 579 from my late father (his passing is what got me into wanting to do this); and leasing myself out to Schneider or Landstar.
