Alex Camacho stated that a \u201cwhite tractor-trailer collided into a black Nissan sedan and then another tractor-trailer\u201d in the southbound lanes of the toll road near the Golden Glades interchange.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/news\/local\/2025\/01\/13\/big-rigs-crash-on-turnpike-near-golden-glades\/\">Local 10<\/a>, a female passenger in one of the tractor trailers was ejected in the crash and landed in the roadway. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The motorist in the Nissan was taken to the hospital with injuries but is expected to survive.
