Senators in Georgia are pushing for an update on the Tyson Foods explosion that killed the wife of a truck driver and injured 12 others.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A boiler is the suspected cause of the December 27th explosion<\/a> at the Tyson Foods plant in Camilla, Georgia.\u00a0<\/p>\n Just before the explosion, a truck driver parked outside of the building, leaving his wife to rest in the sleeper while he went inside. While inside, the boiler exploded, causing a wall to fall on top of the truck cab. 61-year-old Bajarma Batozhatov was killed while sleeping in the truck. The driver was not hurt. 12 other people were also injured in the explosion. Two are still recovering, reported WALB 10<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Now, U.S. Senators Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, with the help of U.S. Rep. Sanford Bishop Jr., have sent a letter to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requesting information on the results of their investigation into the explosion, reported WRDW News<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWhile we understand that the investigation into this explosion is ongoing and will require time to complete, we respectfully request regular updates and a full briefing on the results of this investigation at the appropriate time.
