{"id":18285,"date":"2025-01-28T16:15:28","date_gmt":"2025-01-28T16:15:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pro-truckdrivers.com\/blog\/family-of-driver-crushed-against-loading-dock-says-situation-makes-no-sense\/"},"modified":"2025-01-28T16:15:28","modified_gmt":"2025-01-28T16:15:28","slug":"family-of-driver-crushed-against-loading-dock-says-situation-makes-no-sense","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pro-truckdrivers.com\/blog\/family-of-driver-crushed-against-loading-dock-says-situation-makes-no-sense\/","title":{"rendered":"Family of driver crushed against loading dock says situation &#8220;makes no sense\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_84\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<p>The family of a truck driver killed in an accident at a bottling plant in Texas says that the accident \u201cmakes no sense\u201d and feels there are a lot of \u201cinconsistencies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>39-year-old Arlen Vargas died on Friday, January 24th at the Niagara Bottling plant in Seguin, Texas after he was <a href=\"https:\/\/cdllife.com\/2025\/workers-open-door-to-find-trucker-crushed-moments-after-guiding-second-driver-into-loading-dock-police-say\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">crushed by a tractor trailer that backed into the dock<\/a> after receiving instructions to do so from an employee.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.khou.com\/article\/news\/local\/houston-man-work-accident-death-seguin\/285-406816f7-32d5-4bf5-a232-55942bf11d95\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KHOU 11<\/a>, Arlen was at the plant to pick up a load, but it is unclear why he was out of his truck, or why he was standing so close to the dock door.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt just makes no sense, and my brother, he\u2019s very on top of everything.
