The trucker is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on March 3rd near Newville, Pennsylvania.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abc27.com\/local-news\/lancaster-county-trucker-charged-with-conceiling-license-plate-to-evade-tolls\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ABC 27<\/a>, a witness on the Pennsylvania Turnpike at the Harrisburg East Interchange at exit 247 noticed a commercial vehicle activate a device to conceal its license plate before passing through the <a href=\"https:\/\/cdllife.com\/2025\/open-road-tolling-5-toll-increase-to-start-on-pennsylvania-turnpike-on-january-5\/\">toll collection<\/a> area. The license plate then came back into view after the vehicle passed through the booth.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The motorist obtained video of the incident, which they showed to police. The video helped officers to locate the semi truck.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Truck driver Riley Zurin of Zurin Trucking LLC has been charged with fare evasions and theft of services.
