Connecticut firefighters responded to a burning big rig at a Milford truck stop on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

At 6:00 a.m. on February 5, numerous callers reported a semi truck on fire at the Secondi Bros Truck stop located in Milford, Connecticut.<\/p>\n

The Milford Fire Department <\/strong><\/a>(MFD) responded to the truck stop.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Tractor Trailer was at the diesel pumps and the driver was inside of the business when he was notified that the cab of his truck was on fire. This driver somehow was able to get into the truck while the passenger seat was on Fire and moved it far enough away from the pumps to not cause any further complications,\u201d MFD said.<\/p>\n

No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n

The truck was a total loss.<\/p>\n

Firefighters say that the truck\u2019s trailer was empty when the fire occurred.<\/p>\n

The cause of the fire is under investigation.<\/p>\n
