North Dakota Highway Patrol<\/strong><\/a> (NDHP) is investigating an injury crash involving a semi truck and a snow plow that happened on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The crash occurred at 3:30 p.m. on February 5 on Highway 2 near White Earth.<\/p>\n

Troopers say that a North Dakota Department of Transportation snowplow was westbound on Highway 2 traveling in the right lane with the blade down. A passenger vehicle was traveling behind the plow.<\/p>\n

A semi truck also traveling west on Highway 2 approached the snowplow and the passenger vehicle from the rear.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe CMV braked and moved into the left lane. The CMV struck the guard rail, lost control, and then struck the DOT plow truck,\u201d NDHP said.<\/p>\n

The collision caused the plow to strike a guardrail and overturn.<\/p>\n

The snowplow driver was hospitalized with serious injuries.<\/p>\n

The truck driver was not hurt.<\/p>\n

Troopers say they cited the truck driver for careless driving: snow removal equipment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
