{"id":18874,"date":"2025-02-20T23:24:03","date_gmt":"2025-02-20T23:24:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pro-truckdrivers.com\/blog\/tfi-will-move-headquarters-to-us-from-canada\/"},"modified":"2025-02-20T23:24:03","modified_gmt":"2025-02-20T23:24:03","slug":"tfi-will-move-headquarters-to-us-from-canada","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pro-truckdrivers.com\/blog\/tfi-will-move-headquarters-to-us-from-canada\/","title":{"rendered":"TFI will move headquarters to US from Canada"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_84\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<p>TFI International announced its plans to move company headquarters from Canada to the United States this week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>TFI reported on Wednesday, February 19th that fourth-quarter profits dropped by a third year\u2013over-year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bnnbloomberg.ca\/business\/company-news\/2025\/02\/20\/tfi-limps-away-from-disaster-quarter-amid-trucking-slump-ceo\/#:~:text=The%20head%20of%20TFI%20International,CEO%20Alain%20B%C3%A9dard%20on%20Thursday.\">BNN Bloomberg<\/a>, Chairman and CEO Alain B\u00e9dard described the quarter as a \u201cdisaster\u201d and said that the outlook for the first half of 2025 is \u201cfoggy.\u201d B\u00e9dard attributes part of the downturn to inefficient operations at two different companies it <a href=\"https:\/\/cdllife.com\/2025\/91-year-old-company-rebrands-hires-former-jack-cooper-yellow-leadership-after-being-sold-by-dhl\/\">acquired<\/a> in the last few years, and also cites a weaker freight market overall.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>B\u00e9dard says that the company plans to relocate its legal headquarters from Montreal, Canada to somewhere in the United States.
