{"id":18913,"date":"2025-02-22T06:44:58","date_gmt":"2025-02-22T06:44:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pro-truckdrivers.com\/blog\/two-truck-drivers-killed-in-head-on-crash-on-missouri-highway\/"},"modified":"2025-02-22T06:44:58","modified_gmt":"2025-02-22T06:44:58","slug":"two-truck-drivers-killed-in-head-on-crash-on-missouri-highway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pro-truckdrivers.com\/blog\/two-truck-drivers-killed-in-head-on-crash-on-missouri-highway\/","title":{"rendered":"Two truck drivers killed in head-on crash on Missouri highway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_84\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<p>Two truck drivers lost their lives in a collision in Barton County, Missouri, on Friday morning.<\/p>\n<p>The crash occurred at 10:17 a.m. on February 21 on Highway 43, 12 miles southwest of Lamar, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mshp.dps.missouri.gov\/HP68\/AccidentDetailsAction?ACC_RPT_NUM=250112058\">crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers say that a 2016 Kenworth tractor trailer was southbound on Highway 43 when it crossed over the center line and struck a northbound 2021 Freightliner box truck head-on.<\/p>\n<p>The Freightliner caught fire after the crash.<\/p>\n<p>Both truck drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the Freightliner has been identified as a 45 year old male from Joplin, Missouri.
