Electric hook up for a lift axle solenoid control valve

I have a dump truck with life axle I have to replace the solenoid control valve this valve send air to pickup or drop the axle the original one on there i can't find so have to get aftermarket my question is about the electric hook up can I just run a on/off toggle switch to this solenoid?
