What are you grossing ?
Over 80k ?
If so , what’s you’re permitted route ?
if you’re not over 89 or 90k
you’re not loaded heavy .
you’re just loaded normal weight for what your rig was designed to haul
I routinely grossed 80-85k with a 1982 International 9670 cabover with a 350 horsepower Cummins and a 9 speed and leaf springs on the drive axles .
yeah, it was a little slow up some hills , but I did it for years .
you just flip on the engine fan override to get the fan going before you hit the hill, turn on the flashers , and keep dropping gears till you get to the top .
I’ve gone over or through all the big climbs in the south
Blood Mountain hwy 129 in north Georgia , mont eagle in Tennessee ,
Ocoee gorge in Tennessee
nantahala gorge in NC
