Just put a reman AD-9 on my truck with an N14 C+ (I bet you can guess where this is going) with a QE style compressor. This compressor needs a 4 port dryer, so I had to drill and tap a new port for the "Econ Valve." Trouble is, this reman dryer has a hard seat purge valve, and this setup needs a soft seat, which I was unaware of at the time of purchase. Do the hard and soft seat valves use the same housing? I'd rather not pay $300 for a whole new purge valve since that's more than the whole…
