This is wild to me, after the whole Bison/Syndicate/New Way Trucking/Versacold CPX fiasco Walmart went through (I was at Bison at the time) which led to them bringing Walmart fleet up here to Canada in the first place. It seems like they’re going back to that model, with a way worse option!
You’re correct on Loblaws, they went 4 tracks, Laidlaw, IHaul, Rig Logistics, Syndicate, etc etc etc to get away from having “Loblaws/Westfair Foods” private fleet. Now they’ve dumped all those carriers, and are back to Loblaws Fleet lol.
They all ####ing suck tho, Walmart fleet here in Alberta was beyond a disaster, Loblaws fleet is already a disaster, and all the carriers mentioned above; everyone knows they’re disasters.
