Personally don’t think if they had in-house Amazon trucks, things would be much different.
Maybe if they paid top tier Walmart or UPS type wages with actual ( or some ) standards… Don’t ever see that happening though.
We all see the Wrecks/Carnegie they create just because we are in the same job field and keep up with the industry news. Most common folks will never see or hear about these accidents.
Even if so, people have become so addicted and can’t do without buying something from Amazon to get the most out of their Prime account with free shipping, it wouldn’t matter.
The phrase that holds true and I agree is, Amazon is taking over the world… it’s reality.
I’d be truly interested to see the true accident/death numbers from accidents involving independent companies contracted with Amazon. Those numbers have to be truly mind blowing, and scary.
