So I’m a night driver on one of their dedicated accounts and 3 years ago they gave us a upgraded pay package. We get the miles and the stop pay, but since I’m a night driver, I get an extra five cents per mile.
Monday through Thursday, I get an extra five cents that is labeled night pay. But Friday through Sunday, I get an extra five cents that’s labeled “weekend” pay, but I am not getting the extra 5 cents for night pay.
If I’m strictly a night driver, how come I’m not getting night pay for Friday through Sunday?
The daytime drivers are getting an extra 5 cents per mile labeled weekend pay for driving Friday through Sunday.
I’m getting an extra 5 cents per mile that’s labeled weekend pay, but there is nothing showing that I’m getting an extra 5 cents per mile for the night pay as well. That only shows up from Monday through Thursday.
I tried to ask around, but no one has an answer. If I add everything up from the past 3 years when the new pay was upgraded, I am missing out on over $8,000.
