I am CA based interstate carrier. One of my drivers got pulled over for an inspection in CA and received a violation for not displaying the CA # on the side of the truck. I was under the impression that the CA # was not a requirement as long as you displayed a valid US DOT #/Name of the company… Did the officer get this wrong or was I misinformed about this? Thank you
