Try local jobs to get experience.

Landscaping companies, gravel, cement, garbage etc.

Apply everywhere, knock on doors with resume in hand.

Try local, large warehouses/distribution centers as a yard jockey.

I’m sure some folks from Ontario will be along with suggestions.

Might want to add the general area of Ontario you are in, opportunities in Thunder Bay will be different than the GTA.
